FAQ

1. Why do I have to upload videos to YouTube to have them appear on FishTactics.com?
2. What is my YouTube UserID?
3. My videos are not showing up on FishTactics.com?

1. Why do I have to upload videos to YouTube to have them appear on FishTactics.com?
YouTube.com is extremely reliable and a leader in online video technology. Google owns YouTube.com and makes the video feeds available to developers. Why re-invent the wheel when they have already done such a good job?

2. What is my YouTube UserID?
Your YouTube UserID is the unique ID that you log into YouTube.com with. In most cases this will be different than your FishTactics.com username. In order to have your videos displayed on FishTactics.com you must let us know what your YouTube.com UserID is by editing your FishTactics.com profile. You will NOT be asked to provide us with your YouTube password.

3. My videos are not showing up on FishTactics.com?
If your videos are not showing up on FishTactics.com, make sure you have done the following:

  • Ensure that you have a valid account on YouTube.com and have uploaded atleast one video.
  • Ensure that you have atleast 1 uploaded video on YouTube.com tagged with the keyword 'Fishing'
  • Ensure that you have gone into 'Edit Profile' once logged into FishTactics.com and saved your YouTube UserID into the appropriate field. Without this ID saved on FishTactics.com, we will not know where to look for your videos.

FISHING TACTIC:
Keep your hooks 'sticky' sharp... You can test the point of your hook by lightly dragging it across your fingernail. Its sharp enough when it sticks instead of sliding off. ~ Cory Webb, Tactics Design Corporation
