2 miles off the fingers in 900-1000ft of water is where they have been. They seem to be down 100 - 160ft deep. Green/Glow seems to be the color combo of choice in spoons and hootchies.

I went out today but it was pretty rough...didnt stay for too long which was a major bummer as our kicker failed as well. We were looking forward to getting into the action. We had 3 hits pop the rod off the downrigger but could not connect..dont know why!

Hi shawcableguy (my long lost brother ) ..I was trolling coyote spoons and hootchies because it did not seem like there was any need to fuss with bait, most other boats using gear as well. 145 to 165ft down was the lucky depth range for me. Well I hope this school of fish will still be around by the time you get here. I'll post more updates before you arrive.

went out two days ago, spent all day off the fingers. Did not get a bite, many other boats out there and they also got skunked. Fish must have moved on.

Hey wineguy welcome to the site! Word is that the fish are moving south...more are being caught around Thrasher Rock and Porlier Pass. However with that being said guys are sticking picking up fish off French Creek and I know a guy that got two fish 5 miles off the fingers yesterday.

Maybe the problem was the person driving the boat??
