Went out saturday morning fished from 5:00 to 2:00. Lost one out past the fingers around 7:30 at 115 ft. Moved over to entrance and landed a beauty 28 lb at 9:30 at 115 ft. then trolled back toward the fingers and landed a 16 lb at 1:00 at 155 ft. I got home and cleaned the 28 and found a 13 inch pacific cod in it's stomach.

Was out early am and fished through till 8ish before the first. Caught it right off the end of the reef in front of neck point, got sealed epicly. Full breach out of the water with fish in its mouth, looked 11 ish pounds. Moved back to a secret spot and on my second pass hit a double header 17 and undersized.

Hey everyone. I am new to this forum and I am hoping you guys could help me out a bit. I am planning on coming over this weekend for a visit and I would love to get some cod, and maybe some salmon if I could. Here's the thing. I fish from my fishing kayak so I am somewhat limited as to where I can get to in a day. I wanted to paddle around Neck Point at some point so I am wondering if there is any good place to start? My kayak is rigged up with fish finder and downrigger to reach about 100 ft. if needed. I appreciate any info you pass on.
Cheers Len
