Hello I was wondering if anyone has an update on Nootka sound. Also looking for unguided accomdation options. Looks like a trip is in the works for July. Thanks in advance for any info

hey mainlander Was there on june 19th got a 32 and a couple of 8's right in front of burdwood bay. The fishing really isnt all that great at the moment though. July is uaully hot . will probly be up there in 2 weeks will report back.

black and white hootchies green flasher 82 feeet. troll right over the shallows of burdwood you might get lucky buddy got a 40 lb halibut there 3 weeks ago.

Not that great on the inside compared to other years. We had 4 hits in 3 hours and brought in those two at the wall next to camel rock. The day before we got a 15 at birdwood and that was our only fish of the day. Right now should be the peak.

the inside wasnt that great this past summer but the outside wasnt all spectacular ethier but we still managed to find some good fighting fish and a few with decent size to them aswell biggest in my boat 36 and lost a hog too!

Hey enterprise01
Where did you find the fish last summer inside. I make One or two trips up there every year. If the weather is not good I stay inside instead of running out to the highway.

Spent may long at cougar creek. Fishd all 3 mornings. We got one 42lb halibut. 3 fair size lingcod and a snapper. Didnt do any salmon fishing. We never got to run offshore like we planned. the halibut we caught came from between burdwood and escalante in 100ft
